Quality Printing
Each size of tablecloth comes with three options of printing: plain, with nothing printed on it (you can always add a runner to this one) , regular printing, and dye sublimation printing.
Dye Sublimation
This is one of the options we offer for printing. Dye sublimation is not really sublimation at all, but in the early days, people believed that the dyes went through sublimation which is when a substance goes from a solid state to a gas state without going through a liquid state. This is not the case, but the name stuck. Well, now we know what doesn’t happen, so what does happen instead? Heat is used to bond the dyes to the fabric. The higher the polyester count of a material the more bonded with dyes (as opposed to inks) become with the fabric. The result is a vibrant, long lasting brilliant print. The colors are bright, and because the dyes are actually in the fibers, they have an extra high resolution quality that will keep you coming back for more!
